The format of the San Diego Regional Championship is Standard.

Decklists are due by 6pm PST on Friday, the 7th.

The structure* of the San Diego Regional Championship is:

Saturday, April 8 = 9 Swiss rounds total 9:30 AM - Player meeting followed by Round 1 Cut after Round 9, all players with 18 or more points (6 – 3) will be invited to return for Day Two.

Sunday, April 9 = 5 Swiss rounds & single-elim Top 8 9:30 AM – Round 10 through 14 Top 8 single elimination

*The event structure is based on expected attendance and subject to change. Changes, if any, will be announced at the beginning of the player meeting.

Open decklists. All decklists will be published after the tournament starts. All players will be given a copy of their own decklist to trade with their opponent. Retrieve your decklist printout from your opponent at the conclusion of your match. You may reference opponent decklists prior to the beginning of play and while sideboarding so long as you do so in a timely fashion. It is acceptable to reference your opponent's decklist on your phone via Melee, but no interactive online resources may be referenced (using a massaging app will be automatically considered Outside Assistance and is a Match Loss).

If paper printouts are made for this tournament, players' names will display as their real names regardless of their profile settings.
