This event will be run at competitive rules enforcement level, so please pay attention! If you have a question regarding an interaction, please either seek out a judge before the event (and the head judge if necessary), or call a judge when needed. The judge staff is there for you! Please make use of them when needed!
Proxies are legal for this event. The guidelines on proxies are as follows:
International Edition and Collector's Edition cards are wonderful proxies, and are acceptable for this event.
Printouts, either those that have been glued to Magic cards, or those that are inserted into sleeves will be legal proxies for this event. As long as the thickness of the card isnt immediately visible (please visit the Judge before the event starts to discuss).
Legacy is an exceptionally expensive format, and the purpose of a proxy is to lower the barrier of entry a little bit, so that players who are passionate about the format are able to play in an event that they would otherwise not have been able to play in. Proxies should not be used as a form of gamesmanship to try and confuse opponents, and gain an advantage in the game itself.
If you have questions about your proxies, please arrive early enough to speak with a member of the judge staff. This is important, so please allow time for this.
Finally, there is no reason why your proxies cannot be beautiful. Magic is a beautiful game, and taking pride in your proxies is a great thing.
Check in for the event will be at 13:15 pm.
1,000 NTD Entry fee to be paid then.
