This is an Invite-Only event.
The 2020 Mythic Invitational takes place September 10-13, with the Swiss rounds taking place September 10 and 11, and the Top 8 taking place September 12 and 13.

Format
The 2020 Mythic Invitational will use the Historic Constructed format on MTG Arena.
Deck Submission
Players must submit Historic-legal decks via the MTG Melee tournament page no later than Sunday, September 6 at 11:59 p.m. Seattle time (PDT). If you’d like to know the decklist submission deadline in your local time, a conversion clock is available here.
Players who fail to submit a decklist within 24 hours of the deadline will be automatically dropped from the tournament.

Invitations cannot be deferred as no future Mythic Invitational events will be scheduled in 2020.
Tournament Structure
MTG Arena Accounts
Each qualified player will be provided access to an account on MTG Arena stocked with four (4) copies of each Standard-legal card as well as enough wild cards and gems to craft necessary Historic-legal cards. This account may be used by the player to prepare for, and is required to be used to participate in, the Mythic Invitational.
Additional rules that apply to MTG Arena play using this account will be provided to players with account information.

MTG Arena Known Issues and Disconnects
Players should review the known issues in MTG Arena prior to participation in sanctioned digital events. Wizards of the Coast is not responsible for impact on game and match results as a result of players experiencing known issues.
Wizards of the Coast is not responsible for the results of any disconnection or network problems experienced by players.
Outside Assistance
During matches, players may not seek play advice from spectators and spectators may not give play advice to players. Reports of players receiving outside assistance will be investigated and penalties (up to and including disqualification) will be assigned. Players who receive unsolicited outside assistance from another player or spectator are expected to report the incident to tournament officials and submit any supporting evidence of attempt to provide outside assistance.
Deck Validation
Players are expected to use the same 75-card configuration that they submitted for this tournament for all rounds of competition. Wizards will be conducting deck checks via a script for each round, and players who are found to be playing with a deck that is different than what they submitted may be disqualified without prize from the tournament.
Streaming Policy
For this event, players should not be streaming their gameplay on platforms such as Twitch or YouTube in order to best support our feature match process. Players are welcome to record their gameplay if they wish to stream their matches at a later time or showcase their matches in pre-produced video once each day of competition is over.
The Mythic Invitational will take place on Magic: The Gathering Arena:
Day 1: September 10, 2020 – 9:00 a.m. PDT (09:00) Day 2: September 11, 2020 – 9:00 a.m. PDT (09:00) Top 8: September 12 & 13, 2020 – 9:00 a.m. PDT (09:00) Only players remaining in the Top 8 need to check in on September 12 and 13 for competition.

Please note that the above times reflect the July 13 announcement that the Mythic Invitational moved to September 10-13.
The Top 16 players will earn invitations to the 2020 Season Grand Finals*.
*If a Top 16 player is already invited to compete in the 2020 Season Grand Finals, that invite will pass down to the next applicable recipient based on the final standings of the 2020 Mythic Invitational.
There is a $250,000 prize pool which will be awarded to competitors based on their final standing in the tournament.
