Tournament structure will be as follows: Format: Pioneer Competitive REL Decklist required. Can be submitted on MTG Melee at least 1 day prior to event, or can be brought in paper day of. $40 Dollar Entry. 64 player cap. Rounds dependent on the number of players with a cut to Top 8 (Max 6 rounds + Top 8) You must also provide your Wizards Account email with sign-up where you will be loaded into the Eventlink event. Walk-in registrations day of are also available, but must be done through MTG Melee. Prizes will be store credit pooled from the total of all entry fees minus the judge payments and event kit cost. All top 8 contenders will receive two non-foil promo Unholy Heat // Eldrich Evolution(s).
Prizes will breakdown to the places as follows: 1st: 30% of store credit pool + foil Unholy Heat // Eldrich Evolution, Regional Qualifier invite 2nd: 25% of store credit pool + foil Unholy Heat // Eldrich Evolution(s), Regional Qualifier invite. 3rd & 4th: 12.5% of store credit pool each. 5th-8th: 5% of the store credit pool each.
Unanimous Top 8 Split of prizing is also an option that will be determined before Top 8 begins rounds.
If paper printouts are made for this tournament, players' names will display as their real names regardless of their profile settings.
