SCG Tour Online $5K Kaldheim Championship Qualifier events require decklists to be imported and submitted via your MTGMelee Player Controller 10 minutes prior to the beginning of the first round. Failing to submit a decklist on time will result in Tardiness penalties.

All SCG Tour Online events have open decklists. Each round, both your decklist and your opponent's will be available for reference in the MTGMelee Player Controller.

Pairings will be announced through MTGMelee and posted in the tournament channel of the SCG Tour Online Discord. Many options for notification are available in the profile options of MTGMelee, but players are solely responsible for receiving their pairings and conducting their matches in a timely manner.

Each round, your MTGMelee Player Controller will update to display your "Current Pairing".

Players are required to "Check-in" to every round. Simply click the green button to check-in to your match.

Once you have received your pairing, use the Direct Challenge feature in MTG Arena (Crossed Swords in the top right) to challenge your opponent. Set up your match by selecting "Tournament Match", entering your opponent’s Direct Challenge ID (include the hashtag and five-digit number), and selecting the deck you've registered. Remember than MTG Arena user names are case sensitive.

At the conclusion of your match, it is recommended that you take a screen shot of your match result screen. If there are any discrepancies in the match results, an admin may ask you for this as proof of your result. Then submit the match results in your Player Controller. (Note: there are no draws in SCG Tour Online events)

Each round will be 50 minutes including 5 minutes to check-in and begin your match. 15 minutes after round is paired, if a player has not communicated with their opponent or a tournemant admin that player will lose the current round and be dropped from the event.

Players are required to be active and available on the SCG Tour Online Discord server. Not being ready to screen share during those events is an infraction that carries up to a match loss penalty.

Players are solely responsible for meeting the appropriate hardware and internet capabilities and failure to comply with or meet the minimum requirements for screensharing requests.

To ensure your system is capable of running the “Go Live” feature, we recommend using one of the open voice channels to conduct a test prior to the event. If you are encountering issues during tests, please contact a member of our Moderation team and we will do our best to assist you further.

Players are fully and solely responsible for the presence and stability of an internet connection as well as for the stability of the system running MTG Arena.
