It is mandatory for all participants to join the SCG Tour Online Discord and to "Authorize Discord" in your account settings. To authorize your Discord on MTGMelee, click your profile avatar, then navigate to "Settings, Third-Party Apps, Authorize Discord."

Players are required to be active and available on the SCG Tour Online Discord server. Not being ready to screen share during those events is an infraction that carries a match loss penalty.

Players will be required to share their Arena client window to Discord using the “Go Live” feature in Discord upon Admin request. Players are solely responsible for meeting the appropriate hardware and internet capabilities and failure to comply with or meet the minimum requirements for screensharing requests.

To ensure your system is capable of running the “Go Live” feature, we recommend using one of the open voice channels to conduct a test prior to the event. If you are encountering issues during tests, please contact a member of our Moderation team and we will do our best to assist you further.

Eligibility:

One Hundred and Fifty (150) SCG Online Points must have been earned in Season Two of the SCG Tour Online to participate in the current SCG Tour Online Season Two Championship.

Players must have accounts in good standing for MTG Arena, Melee.gg, and Star City Games.

Players must not be currently suspended from participating in tabletop Magic: The Gathering events, the SCG Tour Online, and/or tabletop SCG Tour events

Regional eligibility restrictions also apply, void where prohibited.

Players must be 18 years of age to paticipate.

Pairings

Pairings will be announced through the Melee.gg Player Controller in the form of a notification, voice notification, and SMS notification (if you activate it in your profile settings).

Each round, your Player Controller will update to display your "Current Pairing".

Players are required to "Check-in" to every round. Simply click the green button to check-in to your match.

Matches

Once you've received your pairing, Direct Challenge your opponent using the MTG Arena user name displayed (remember these are CaSe SeNsAtIvE) and the MTG Arena "TOURNAMENT MATCH" challenge option.

At the conclusion of your match, it is recommended that you take a screen shot of your match result. If there are any discrepancies in the match results, an admin may ask you for this as proof of your result. Then submit the match results in your Player Controller. There are no draws in the SCG Tour Online.

Each round will be 50 minutes. You will have 5 minutes to check-in and start your matches. You will be dropped if you don't start communicating with an admin or your opponent 15 minutes after round is paired.

Communication

Problem with your match? Use the "Contact Tournament Staff" feature to select your issue and submit your ticket. Our staff will be in contact with you as quickly as possible.

In the event that there is a dispute between players, we may ask for a screenshot or for you to share your screen through the SCG Tour Online Discord in order to better understand a situation, or as a way to have proof that something is occurring. We also highly-recommend that you take a screenshot of each "Victory" screen showing both players’ names. In the event of a results discrepancy, you may be asked to provide this to confirm the result.

Miscellaneous

Players are fully and solely responsible for the presence and stability of an internet connection as well as for the stability of the system running MTG Arena.

Any types of connection issue, bugs, anything related to your game crashing/not functioning properly will not result in restarting the match.

Players should be aware of known issues in MTG Arena.

Prizes

• 1st: $5,000 USD, Qualification for Wizards of the Coast’s Zendikar Rising Championship (Date TBD)

• 2nd: $2,000 USD, Qualification for Wizards of the Coast’s Zendikar Rising Championship (Date TBD)

• Top 4: $1,400 USD, Qualification for Wizards of the Coast’s Zendikar Rising Championship (Date TBD)

• Top 8: $1,000 USD

• Top 16: $600 USD

• Top 32: $400 USD

Zendikar Rising Qualifier Eligibility

All players who finish with the same number of match points as the 32nd place finisher or higher will receive an invitation to participate in Wizards of the Coast’s October Zendikar Rising Qualifier Weekend.

Additional Prize Information

• The top 32 players will be contacted by one of our SCG Tour Online admins with information on how to receive prizes following the conclusion of this event.

• To receive prizes, players will be required to have up to date tax paperwork on file with Star City Games
