Championship Qualifiers are invitation-only events that award various amounts of SCG Online Points to all competitors, plus a total of $10,000 USD in prizes to top finishers. Players must authorize their Discord accounts to register.

Players that earn a minimum of 10 SCG Online Points in Challenge Period 3 of Season Two (August 8th-14th) are eligible to participate.

Players are required to register and check-in prior to the start of the event.
Registration for all SCG Tour Online events will close 20 minutes prior to each event. No late registrations will be allowed. Remember that MTG Arena user names are CaSE SenSITive.
SCG Tour Online Championship Qualifier events require decklists to be imported and submitted via your Melee.gg Player Controller ten (10) minutes prior to the beginning of the event. Any player who fails to submit a decklist will be dropped from the event.
All SCG Tour Online events will have open decklists. Each round, both your decklist and your opponent's will be available for reference.
Players are required to check-in by opening the Melee.gg Player Controller prior to the start of the event. Pre-event Check-In will be open 90 minutes before the event begins. Any Player who fails to check-in prior to the event will be dropped.
It is mandatory for all participants to join the SCG Tour Online Discord and to "Authorize Discord" in your account settings. To authorize your Discord on MTGMelee, click your profile avatar, then navigate to "Settings, Third-Party Apps, Authorize Discord."
Players are required to be active and available on the SCG Tour Online Discord server. Not being ready to screen share during those events is an infraction that carries a match loss penalty.

Players will be required to share their Arena client window to Discord using the “Go Live” feature upon Admin request. Players are solely responsible for meeting the appropriate hardware and internet capabilities and failure to comply with or meet the minimum requirements for screensharing requests.
To ensure your system is capable of running the “Go Live” feature, we recommend using one of the open voice channels to conduct a test prior to the event. If you are encountering issues during tests, please contact a member of our Moderation team and we will do our best to assist you further.
Ten (10) SCG Online Points must have been earned in the previous Challenge Period to participate in the current SCG Tour Online Championship Qualifier. Invitations are also extended to select Star City Games content creators.
Players must have accounts in good standing for MTG Arena, Melee.gg, and Star City Games.
Players must not be currently suspended from participating in tabletop Magic: The Gathering events, the SCG Tour Online, and/or tabletop SCG Tour events
Regional eligibility restrictions also apply, void where prohibited.
Pairings will be announced in the form of a notification, voice notification, and SMS notification (if you activate it in your profile settings).
Each round, your Player Controller will update to display your "Current Pairing".
Players are required to "Check-in" to every round. Simply click the green button to check-in to your match.
Once you've received your pairing, Direct Challenge your opponent using the MTG Arena user name displayed (remember these are CaSe SeNsAtIvE) and the MTG Arena "TOURNAMENT MATCH" challenge option.
At the conclusion of your match, it's recommended that you take a screen shot of your match result. If there are any discrepancies in the match results, an admin may ask you for this as proof of your result. Then submit the match results in your Player Controller. (Intentional draws not allowed)
Each round will be 50 minutes. You will have 5 minutes to check-in and start your matches. You will be dropped if you don't start communicating with an admin or your opponent 15 minutes after round is paired.
Problem with your match? Use the "Contact Tournament Staff" feature to select your issue and submit your ticket. Our staff will be in contact with you as quickly as possible.
In the event that there is a dispute between players, we may ask for a screenshot or to share your screen through the SCG Tour Online Discord in order to better understand a situation, or as a way to have proof that something is occurring. We also highly-recommend that you take a screenshot of every "Victory" screen showing both players’ names. In the event of a results discrepancy, you may be asked to provide this as proof.
Players are fully and solely responsible for the presence and stability of an internet connection as well as for the stability of the system running MTG Arena.
Any types of connection issue, bugs, anything related to your game crashing/not functioning properly will not result in restarting the match.
Players should be aware of known issues in MTG Arena.

2nd: $1,000 USD, One hundred fifty (150) SCG Tour Online Points
Top 4: $700 USD, One hundred fifty (150) SCG Tour Online Points
Top 8: $500 USD, One hundred (100) SCG Tour Online Points
Top 16: $250 USD, Fifty (50) SCG Tour Online Points
Top 32: $100 USD, Thirty (30) SCG Tour Online Points
Participation: Ten (10) SCG Tour Online Points
All players who finish with eighteen (18) or more match points will receive an invitation to participate in the Wizards of the Coast’s next Zendikar Rising Qualifier Weekend.
The top 32 players will be contacted by one of our SCG Tour Online admins with information on how to receive prizes following the conclusion of this event.
To receive prizes, players will be required to have up to date tax paperwork on file with Star City Games
The top 32 players will receive SCG Online Points based on rank. All other players receive 10 SCG Online Points for participation.
Each player that earns a minimum of 150 SCG Online Points during the Championship Season qualifies for the SCG Tour Online 2020 Season One Championship
Points earned from Championship Qualifiers are not part of Challenge Periods and will only count toward the Seasonal Championship qualification.
