• Saturday Event: $10,000 Team (Pioneer/Modern/Legacy) Trial

• Sunday Event: $5,000 Modern Trial

Pre-register for both events through MTG Melee. Limited on-site registration is available. Both events cap at 300 players. On-site registration will be available as space permits, and will cost $5 more than the preregistration rate.

Main Event Information

Sunday’s main event is the $5,000 Modern Trial. To enroll in this event, register on MTG Melee. **On-site registration will be available as space permits, and will cost $5 more than the base entry fee. ** This event will be run at Competitive REL and decklists for are required to be submitted through MTG Melee. Day 1 – Saturday 10/22

Noon — October Spooky Double Feature Sealed 🔸 Enjoy 3 rounds with scary back and white cards from Wizards last visit to Innistrad 🔸

1:00 pm — Totally Spacey “Unfinity” Sealed 🔸 Suit up and launch into 3 rounds of the newest Un-set that defies all the rules 🔸

2:00 pm — Mystery Booster Sealed (Convention Edition) 🔸 This 36 player capped event features playtest cards and a “Cubelike” experience 🔸

3:00 pm — Competitive Modern Rebound 🔸 No deck list required for this top heavy prized event for competitive modern players 🔸

4:00 pm — Legacy Rumble 🔸 Bring your favorite legacy deck (and some hamster tokens?) to play 3 rounds of Legacy 🔸

Day 2 – Sunday 10/23 10:30 am — Mystery Booster Chaos Sealed Spectacular Your sealed pool will include: 🔸 3 Mystery Booster Convention Edition Packs, 🔸 2 Packs from Standard Sets in Magic’s history, & 🔸 1 Spicy Masters, Collectors, or other premium offering.

Noon — 2 Headed Giant Battle Box 🔸 You can a friend open a draft booster box from and build a pair of sealed pools to play together 🔸

1:00 pm — Pioneer Rumble 🔸 Bring your favorite pioneer deck and play 3 rounds of Swiss for glory and prizes 🔸

2:00 pm — Mystery Booster Sealed 🔸 This 36 player capped event features playtest cards and a “Cubelike” experience 🔸

3:00 pm — Competitive Pioneer Rebound 🔸 No deck list required for this top heavy prized even for competitive pioneer players 🔸

4:00 pm — Modern Rumble 🔸Bring your favorite modern deck to play 3 rounds of Swiss for glory and prizes 🔸

Finally, there will be on-demand events that will launch at any time. Specifically, as soon as there are 8 people ready to play you can enjoy:

🔸 Win-a-Box, Single-Elimination Constructed events – Pioneer, Modern, or Legacy, and… 🔸 On-Demand Drafts with the more recent standard set, as well as, specialty offerings like Double Masters 2022, Modern Horizons 2, & Unfinity.

COVID-19 Policies

This event will be run in accordance with any COVID-19 health and safety protocols as directed by the venue, municipality, state, and country.

All attendees must be fully vaccinated (defined as 2 weeks after the second dose in a 2-dose vaccine series or a single-dose vaccine) or present proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours of the start of the event. Attendees must bring proof of vaccination or negative COVID-19 test result to the venue and present it when requested by a tournament official. Attendees that fail to present proof of vaccination or negative COVID-19 test result will be removed from the venue without refund.

Test results from at-home Covid test kits will not be accepted. If you plan to bring proof of a negative COVID-19 test, you must show proof of a test from a documented test site, such as a medial facility, clinic, hospital, etc. This proof must include your name, the result of the test, the date of the test, and the facility name/location. Both PCR and Antigen tests from these facilities will be accepted.

Regardless of vaccination status, all attendees are required to wear face masks covering their nose and mouth while inside the venue.

Do not attend if you or a member of your household is exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19. The NRG Series reserves the right to modify our policies as we see fit up to the day of the event. We also reserve the right to cancel this event at any time.

Should this event become canceled due to COVID-19, all entry fees will be automatically refunded. However, Nerd Rage Gaming Ltd. is not responsible for covering any outside costs incurred by event attendees, such as hotel, travel accommodations, or other purchases. We urge attendees to only book travel that is 100% refundable.

If paper printouts are made for this tournament, players' names will display as their real names regardless of their profile settings.
