Gamer’s Library is excited to host a DreamHack Magic Showdown WPN Qualifier Event on Saturday, July 9th. This event will be a DOUBLE qualifier, as both 1st and 2nd place will receive invitations to the Regional Championship at DreamHack Atlanta, November 18th-20th. The format will be Pioneer and will start at 12 PM Central. The entry fee for this event will be $40.00. Pre-Registration for this event will be available on MTGMelee, and will be capped at 48 players.
Mask usage is highly recommended for all competitors. All store employees will be masked.
Players will compete in Swiss paired rounds with a cut to Top 8 to determine prizes and qualification.
This is a Competitive Rules Enforcement Level event and will require the submission of decklists. MTG Melee will be the software used to administer the event - Decklists may be submitted through MTG Melee in advance.
Pre-registration will be online through MTGMelee.
Registration opens 6/22/22 at 12:00 PM CST.
Registration closes 7/9/22 at 11:55 AM CST.
The store will open at 10 AM CST on the day of the event, Saturday, June 9th.
The players meeting will begin at 12:00 PM CST on Saturday, June 9th, and the event will begin shortly after.
The organizer has agreed to pay out prizes in 1 days or less.
The tournament organizer has agreed to pay out all prizes on the day of the event.
All competitors will receive a Promo Non-Foil Lava Spike.
All competitors finishing 9th-16th will receive a Promo Non-Foil Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx and an additional Promo Non-Foil Lava Spike, and $25 cash.
All competitors finishing 5th-8th will receive a Promo Non-Foil Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx and an additional Promo Non-Foil Lava Spike, and $100 cash.
All competitors finishing 3rd and 4th will receive a Promo Non-Foil Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx and an additional Promo Non-Foil Lava Spike, and $200 cash.
1st and 2nd place competitors will receive a Promo Non-Foil Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx, a Promo Foil Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx, and an additional Promo Non-Foil Lava Spike, 1 DreamHack badge (virtual will-call redemption), and qualification to the Regional * Championship at DreamHack Atlanta Nov 18-20.
